Just sitting around waiting for this guy to be born….no Labour signs yet….EDD by Scan isn’t until the 9th Oct but both Theresa and Myself are thinking this weekend…hopefully..I’m impatient now..and Theresa is just tired, and complains alot.
Name for Blump is already picked out and ready to go.
Got all the clothes and initial supplies we needed for him.
And most importantly I have a Cuban Cigar, and a bottle of Jack Daniels ready to go at a moments notice 😉
We’ve tried a few labour inducing tactics, like:
driving over potholes,
I even make Theresa climb the stairs at the mall instead of using the lift…lol,
and even the “Dance with No Pants” ( nudge nudge wink wink )
But no sign of this lil bugger yet…..So we wait 🙂
3 Days of Meds and no more Malaria!!!
( image is blurry, presumably cause it was hard to focus on nothing )
Our friend Sam, ( The Lab Guy ), and his trusty microscope in the background.
Apparently its odd that I have a favourite Malaria Parasite photo, but this was it 🙂
I managed to take the photo’s by holding my Samsung S3 up to the microscope.
Also, its worth noting that I was the healthiest Malaria Patient you have ever seen…no symptoms at all!!!
I Laugh in the Face of Malaria….HA!!!
( Although according to my wife, not so much when they had to draw blood…which was the part that made her laugh…she’s an evil women really :/ )
Zambia is so friendly, even the flies will pose for photos!!
Some may think its odd that most of my pictures of Mulungushi Dam are shots taken from the Bar.
I just think it would be odd if they weren’t!!!
The sign on the Men’s Toilet Door at Mulungushi…Genius…Just Genius!!!
Presumably the Ladies toilet had a similar sign saying “Kitchen” or something???
The Chalet we stayed in.
The View from Shaun and Angela’s Chalet.
This was supposed to be a 4D scan, where we would see his little face…however on the day Blump didn’t want to show us his face, so instead he showed us his Penis!!!……That’s my boy 😉
Blump’s big ole head.
( Mopane Worms ).
Being sold at the Markets. apparently a common dish in Southern Africa……with all the chickens and goats they got running around this country, and they want to eat caterpillars??!!?!
What the hell, lets give ’em a go….
Yeah…Tomato…..”Thats” what this dish needs!!!….
Well, its cooked…apparently…I’m not sure how your suppose to tell…
I’m not sure how to even describe the taste, it sure aint like chicken…you kinda crunch it and the insides come out..you manage to swallow them…but you are still left chewing the outter body…until you decide to spit it out and go get a pizza instead….ufff……just Awful!!!!
30/05/13 – The Second Ultrasound at almost 21 weeks. All appears to be healthy 🙂
01/03/13 – The first Ultrasound at about 8 weeks, and Blump ( Black Bump ) is less than 2cm long ( crown to rump ).
07/02/13 – The day we took the test…2 lines either meant Theresa was pregnant, or that she needed more oil.
( even the fly was so shocked it passed out )
The end to our Wedding Day at Sunset.
Thank you to “Everyone” who either came, helped out, or just sent well wishes. Both Theresa and myself had a Great day, and were just so happy that we could share it with you all, even if that “sharing” is just in the form of photos ( especially for those folks back in Australia ).
And also thank you to Jason for doing such a great job with the photos.
A Special thank you as well to Shaun and Angela for providing the venue, and so much more, cheers guys.
We hope you had a good time, and enjoyed our wedding photos. 🙂
Martin & Theresa Sylvester.
( Next stop….AUSTRALIA!!!! 😉 )
…a bit like “The Man from U.N.C.L.E” , just less espionage, and more shopping, but probably just as many disguises. 🙂
I’m not sure if he’s tired, drunk or just one of those people who always closes their eyes as someone takes a photo…lol
But thanks for your help on the day Sydney. 🙂
I’m watching you Donald!!!! 🙂
The only way for Shaun to get the Bow-Tie off was to have his father cut him out of it….
…so he could wear it as a garter…wait…that’s not right!??!!?!?!
To the song “The Book of Love” by “Peter Gabriel”
( Youtube link to the Song >>>Click Here<<< )
Feeding each other a small slice
….and a cake kiss
The Gals from Toyata…mostly…Clyde on the left is neither a gal or from Toyata
Thanks Shaun, for standing there on such a hot day and cooking amongst half a dozen braai’s
Thanks to everyone who helped…my stomach thanks you 🙂
Thanks Elidah, you did a Great Job 😀

..and its off to the reception…..where they have beer, and food, and beer, and cake, and beer, and guests, and…..well you see where I’m going with this 🙂
…its important to get a head start, Theresa eats like a baby dinosaur 😕
This can only end badly 😕
…and possibly getting a small hernia 🙂
..and I hadn’t even started drinking yet!!??!?
This is one of my favourite shots, taken with some of the kids that were fascinated by our photo session.
The little eyes that watched us as we had our photos taken 🙂
I know there’s a joke here, I just ain’t game to touch it
I wonder how long I can keep her following 6ft behind me???
…and kissing behind a hedge 😉
There is also a black and white one of this that looks quite nice also.
